iPad Secondary Display experience for zoom, google meet and teams

The new ipad os 16.2 secondary display is truly great. Allowed me to replace my laptop in almost all my work except when using it for zoom or google meet.

you cannot use an external web cam which is annoying if you have a setup with a monitor and a webcam.
zoom sharing doesnt work on the secondary display, also you cannot share specific windows. It only broadcasts the main ipad screen which is not ideal when you have a secondary display
when you move the zoom window to the secondary display your view is inverted.

so would be great if someone from apple would take this feedback seriously as this is must to make the ipad a true productivity device for business

You have identified limitations of the Zoom App - and for these you will need to seek assistance from the Zoom App Developer:

Perhaps consider that iPadOS16 Stage Manager support for external display has only been released in non-beta form in recent weeks. It may take App Developers some time the rework their Apps to use this feature - if the Developer has any intention to expand support to include an extended desktop.

Extended desktop support for video conferencing Apps/services has always been problematic - affecting many computing platforms, including MS Windows and others.

Apple has already provided the software libraries and functionality. Until Apps are updated to use the OS system functions, they won’t necessarily be able to benefit from new system functionality.

As for supporting external webcams, iOS/iPadOS has never natively supported external video input. Apple do invite submission of feature requests via its Product Feedback portal:
