Safety check option now missing??

I recently check to see if my ipad had issues etc and went to settings ..privacy and security. I noticed the ‘safety check’ feature was missing. I have ios 16.2. I may have already completed the check (cant remember). However , looking now i cannot see the option! Any reason why its now missing? Im a little paranoid now!

Hello MrConcerned,

Thank you for posting to the Apple Support Communities.

How Safety Check on iPhone works to keep you safe. As this Apple Support article explains:

Safety Check is available only on iPhone and only if you have a personal Apple ID (not a Managed Apple ID) that uses two-factor authentication.

The following article explains which security features are built-in to use with your iPad: Use the built-in security and privacy protections of iPad

Please reply back if you have any questions about enabling these privacy features.
