How do you disable the “scroll to top” feature?

There is a feature in iOS that scrolls back to the top of a page or feed when you tap the top of the screen.

The issue with this scroll to top feature is that I rarely (if ever use it), but it gets frequently activated by accident.

Lots of sites and apps feature “infinity scrolling” style browsing of their feeds, and one mistaken tap can take you all the way back to the top, which is very annoying.

As far as I’m aware there is no way to disable this feature? If so, may I request that an option to disable this iOS feature is added as it’s a frequent and annoying obstacle to using my iPhone.

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 16

Good morning Bloggz,

I'm leaning towards "As far as I'm aware there is no way to disable this feature" is correct.
