I just got an iPhone 14 Pro and I can’t send or receive group messages that include an android phone. Group messages with other iPhones are fine. I also can’t send any pictures to an android.

I have checked all the messaging settings for group messages. I can send a message to a single android user, but I cannot send or receive group messages when there is an android user in the group. I cannot send or receive a picture from an individual android user. Is there a setting I am missing?

Hello wenzelfarms,

The page you came from, If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support, has steps for sending and receiving group messages.

Keep in mind that messages sent to other Apple devices use Apple servers. Messages sent to non-Apple device are routed by your carrier.

With that in mind, we would suggest reaching out to your carrier to confirm that your plan allows for SMS messaging.
