Mac OS Ventura: the back button on the joystick opens the folder with apps in lunchpad

On my Macbook, pressing the back button even when the application is open to the full screen, the game opens a folder with app in the lunchpad.

This prevents you from playing properly.

The temporary solution I have found so far is to use the "Erase Controller Settings" option of the controller but I have to do this everytime I reboot my Macbook which is becoming very annoying!

I had Monterey before and used the same controller without any issue. This all started when I upgraded to Ventura.

Do you know how to permanently fix this?

Many thanks.
