The new Siri activation tone in iOS 16 suuuuuux!!!
it is inaudible in a noisy car. It doesn't provide enough positive audio feedback in other environments: it sounds almost like an error indication rather than a positive "speak now" signal.
Apple engineers: bring back the original tone or give me a preference to switch it back.

Do your Part: These settings are new, and are what Apple has included in the iOS. So, recommend this to Apple to Apple that they make this change. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on something, the more they will know what their customers prefer, and what features to include in updates to come.
