Apple Weather appfor iPad

I am unable to download the weather app on my iPad running iPadOS 15.72. The app store indicates "This app requires specific features not available on this device."

iPad Air 2, iPadOS 15

You need to be running iPadOS 16.

Far be it from me to stand in the way of you getting a new iPad (just bought one myself!) but, you can also use one of the many third party weather apps available if you don’t want to do that.
