Since the latest IOS update, my phone shows 2 unrelated numbers that have called either when I am called by someone else or someone calls me. They are contacts that only have one contact number assigned to them. Can anyone help or advise? Thanks

If we understand correctly, when someone calls you, and you go to look at your Recent Calls, you not only see the number of the person who phoned, but additional phone numbers that have no association with the call whatsoever.
Unless there is a call history you need to keep, we would recommend clearing out your Recent Calls history and restarting your iPhone. And if you still see this behavior continue, reach out to Apple Support by going to Get Support.

A family member seems to have the same issue you are describing, started late 2022, late November, early December, 2022.
it’s hard to describe but it sounds the same.
iPhone 11 Pro Max on iOS 16.2
In the Phone app, under Recents, there are 2 contacts who called displayed on the same line, instead of 1 per line as per normal.
Either 2 different names/contacts or if someone called twice, the same contact twice.
They appear as ‘Contact 1 & Contact 2’ on the same line example ‘Tim & Fish and chip shop’.
If you touch the i symbol it goes to another screen with the contacts name on different lines with the i on the far right.
I tried touching on one of the lines with 2 different contacts then quickly hung up as it seemed to go to a dialling screen dialling 2 contacts at the same time.
Ive looked in Settings, Phone and also Contacts but can’t see any setting that might be doing that.

It’s an annoying bug. Delete your entire call history. Restart your phone. Make sure you’re updated to the latest version of iOS. Once I did that, it resolved and I haven’t seen it since.
