Copy & Paste not working??

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to simply paste text from Notes into an IG reel caption without luck. I highlight the text, hit copy, then go into IG and hit paste, nothing. I've tried sharing the note to my Mac, copying it there and pasting from my iPhone. Nothing. How darn frustrating!!

To add to the frustration, I can find very little info about this online. I'm running Ventura 13 on my iMac and iOS 16.2 on my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Please help!
