Lost scanner functionality

After updating to Ventura 13.0.1, I have lost the ability to scan from an HP Color LaserJet MFP M277dw (driver is 2.0). We can air print fine from computers, iPhones and iPads. But cannot run a scan. I need to be able to scan. Any help is appreciated.

MacBook Pro 16", iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPad Air (3rd gen).

First all, be sure to upgrade to Ventura 13.1 as it was recently released.

Next, reset your printing system

Then go to the App Store and install HP Smart in the Mac App Store which will provide drivers above and beyond AirPrint. Re-install the printer and test if you can print and scan.
