Delete all photos

I want to delete ALL the photos on my iPhone (over 8,000). How did I do this?

If your photos are synced to iCloud go to Settings/[your name]/iCloud and turn off the switch for Photos, then follow the instructions to remove the photos. Note that if you ever turn the switch back on the photos will reload.
