AirPlay won’t connect to Roku tv

AirPlay won’t connect Sportsnet to Roku tv. I’ve reinstalled the app. Any ideas? I have an iPad Air 5th generation.

Yes. The Sportsnet app does allow you to stream your SN NOW Live streams via AirPlay. You must however use the AirPlay controls within the video player, and not using Screen Mirroring enabled from the iOS/iPadOS Control Center.

If screen mirroring or streaming isn't working on your AirPlay-compatible device - Apple Support

If you still can’t use AirPlay after trying these steps, contact Apple Support.

I still get an airplay message “unable to connect to Roku tv”

I’ve read online that the iOS 15 update may be causing the problem. I’ve updated my iPad to 16.2, but still doesn’t work. I’ll call Apple support. Thanks.
