Hi msannicandro,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

This article has some general AirPlay tips for your Apple device: If screen mirroring or streaming isn't working on your AirPlay-compatible device

"Try these steps first

After each step, see if you still need help.

  1. Make sure that your AirPlay-compatible devices are turned on and near each other.
  2. Check that the devices are updated to the latest software and are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  3. Restart the devices that you want to use with AirPlay or screen mirroring.

If you're prompted to enter a password, you might have restrictions turned on, or you might need to adjust your AirPlay password settings."

Then you will want to make sure your Roku device is compatible and has the appropriate Roku software installed. This can all be found here: How to use AirPlay and HomeKit with your Roku® streaming device.

Note this section as well:

"Has AirPlay been turned off on your Roku device?

Go to Settings > Apple AirPlay and HomeKit and make sure AirPlay is set to On."

If you do need further help with your Roku and AirPlay, please contact Official Roku Support.

Have a fantastic day!
