Quicklook video issue- with trackpad

Macbook Pro 16" (2019) with MacOS Ventura.

I must be crazy since I googled the issue and could not find one that is similar to my issue.

Before updating the MacOS Ventura, when I pressed the spacebar on any video files to "QuickLook" I was able to speed the video forward/backward with the trackpad (two fingers slide either right or left). Now with the current MacOS, I could not do it. It works if I use the two fingers and quickly "tap-slide" but not manually control the speed like before.

I noticed "live text" on the lower right corner of the QuickLook which I thought is the cause of it so I disabled it. No change.

Hi Diego7,

We'd like to share some details to assist with using gestures for scrubbing forward and back in videos. You mention Quick Look for this, but with macOS Ventura, looking over Keyboard shortcuts and gestures in QuickTime Player on Mac this does seem possible with the gestures and looking over the User Guide for View and edit files with Quick Look on Mac we do not see any specific mentions for this gesture. We hope these details help, and hope QuickTime can offer you a solution.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
