Where do I find the sidecar?

I am using macOS Ventura 13.1, where do I find the sidecar? I would like to use my iPad as a second screen.

Apple intructions here:

Use an iPad as a second display for a Mac - Apple Support

NOTE! Two significant things to check:

1) Both the computer and the iPad MUST be signed in with the same Apple ID

2) Both device must meet the system requirements, located here is the above article.

Wireless and Bluetooth - check

I am not getting any message. When I look in display the iPad is not showing

Will try airdrop. Have to read up since I have never used it before.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong: same Apple ID and the iPad is updated to iPadOS 16.2 and the MacBook to MacOS Ventura 13.1. The MacBook Pro is 2020 model and the iPad is a 9th generation

Hmmm. Sounds perfect. Are you getting any error messages? Wireless and BlueTooth turned on?

For testing, can one device see the other if you do a test Airdrop between the two?

Yes I was able to see the iPad when I spotlight search on my macbook
