ATT Uverse
SInce I bought Apple TV do I need to also use my ATT Uverse
The Apple TV box allows users to install a streaming app from AT&T to access DirecTV TV networks (ABC, NBC, etc.). Depending on the used functionality of the U-verse TV receiver box, that might match the app functionality.
The only app for Apple TV box from AT&T is the DirecTV app. Ask AT&T Support if that app accepts your U-verse credentials, or if it is needed to switch to a specific DirecTV plan.
The U-verse app for Apple devices is for iPhone and iPad, not for Apple TV box.
