Ventura 13.1 Firewall issue
Good morning, fellow Mac'ers:
After updating my iMac to Ventura, 13.1 I have noticed some issues when accessing the firewall under networking as follows:
- The firewall prompts for my password after accessing, even without making any changes.
- I have an application called ViewtronVMS that was working fine until I updated to 13.1. The applications processes are listed as being allowed for connection under the firewall options. The application will not start unless I manually start the process when I do I get the prompt to allow and the message this will be enabled in the firewall and can be changed later.
I spoke to the developer and he indicated that this is an issue with the firewall implementation, under 13.1.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, do you have any suggestions?
Much gratitude in advance for any and all help!
