Extremely slow T7 Touch SSD after updating to macOS Ventura!

Hi everyone,

Ever since upgrading my M1 MacBook Air to macOSVentura was pretty good, except for one thing: my external SSDs.

Yesterday I needed to backup my iDevices (because I was factory resetting all of them) and I proceeded as usual. However, when I copied that backups to my external Samsung T7 Touch SSD, I noticed that speeds were extremely slow.

Just a couple of days ago (while still on macOS Monterey) that said SSD was flying! It has always been so fast to write and read data, I really don't get why it suddenly became so slow while on macOS Ventura.

A transfer which used to take some minutes had just finished at more than an hour... I've read that a lot of people are having the same issue with their external SSDs or even HDDs, but haven't seen any answer.

Please, I need help. I truly cannot comprehend how Apple is capping the speeds of the external memories like this (whether it's a bug or some change made by Apple in this new macOS). It's unbelievable.

Thanks in advance.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.1
