How to check for AppleCare on my iPhone?
Want to check that my daughter's new phone has Apple Care and for how long?

This a user-to-user forum; there is no one from Apple here.
Your daughter's phone won't have Apple Care unless someone purchased it.
Settings App > General > About > Coverage
or go to https://checkcoverage.apple.com and enter the serial number of the phone. (Which you can also find in Settings > General > About)
