Homepod not recognizing HomeKit users

I have bought a HomePod and installed software version 16.2. Our HomeKit includes two users and I am the main user. HomePod´s Siri does not recognize my husband's voice and it uses always my phone for example in phone calls. Siri works fine in my husband's phone, but it cannot use it by HomePod. Is this known bug or what I have to do? This is disgusting situation because we have another HomePod unpacked. Maybe we have to return the both...

We have done according to these instructions Set up voice recognition on HomePod mini or HomePod – Apple Support (UK)

Hello TuuaA,

Thank you for posting to the Apple Support Communities.

The Apple Support article you started with contains helpful information to help you Set up voice recognition on HomePod mini or HomePod.

It would also be suggested to check the following before attempting to use Siri with your HomePods again:

  1. Confirm that each user has their own Apple ID and iOS device.

Install any available iOS updates: Update your iPhone or iPad.

2. For each user’s iOS device, confirm that General > Language & Region is set to the same language as the HomePod.

3. Confirm that "Hey Siri" is enabled for each user’s iOS device.

4. Make sure that all users share control of the home: Share control of your home.

If you continue to notice the same issue, please contact Apple Support directly for more help.

Cheers!
