I accidentally removed the address bar, but can't add it back because the window with the available drag and drop options doesn't appear after enabling customising mode. Also i cannot exit from it, only with closing safari.
I discovered that it doesn't work only when in compact tab layout. The window shows up in separate tab layout, unfortunately changing the layout back after entering customise mode doesn't let me add back anything.
I know how to change the layout. The problem is as i explained it above, when i click on customise toolbar (enter customise mode / jiggle mode) the window from which i could drag new items into the toolbar doesn't appear. I can not exit from it either because the done button is on it, i must close safari. As i also said this only happens when the browser is set to compact layout.
Same here, the safari adress bar suddenly disapperaed, and i cant get it back n place (the 'customize tollbar' doesnt slide up).
Switching the tab layout back to 'Separate' in Safari > Preferences (or CMD + ,) > Tabs should place the address bar back at the top. If that doesn't fix it, go to View > Customize Toolbar and drag the default set back to the top.
