Pictures will send but no one can open them.
When I text a picture, it is coming up as a link on other people’s phones. It will send if I say to send it as a text message, but I want it to work like it always did before. Any advice?

From what you've described it sounds like your media messages are sending as a link only when using iMessage, is that correct? If so you may be sharing photos with an iCloud Link: Share photos and videos on iPhone
"When iCloud Photos is turned on, you can share multiple full-quality photos with an iCloud link. iCloud links remain available for 30 days, can be viewed by anyone, and can be shared using any app, such as Messages or Mail."
