External Camera for iPad

I understand that iPads do not support external cameras, but if I purchased an Apple Studio Monitor and connected my iPad Pro to it, would it be able to use that camera or would it still use the camera on the iPad? Not sure if it would see that camera as an external camera or as an available native camera.

I've followed all the instructions and system requirements but can't get this to work. if Mac Mini is attached to a monitor without a built-in webcam, is it possible to use the iPhone as the webcam??? thank you.

Your iPad will only use its internal camera and microphone.

external headsets via USB work fine, just not camera. I hope this bug is getting fixed soon as it is an terrific device in special when using a docking station with external peripherals
