Ixpand flash drive.

Hi i recently bought sandisk ixpand flash drive.

so i connected it to my 13 mini and opened Files folder. Over there in Locations section, it was showing the icon for the pendrive.

Now i wanted to eject it, so i hold the tap/hold the icon and there was an option as “Remove”.

i clicked on it and then that icon disappeared.

but now when iam connecting the drive, it’s not showing that icon.

i checked the other icons in location and found out that they can be removed too such as “on my phone” icon.

can anybody please guide me how can i get that icon back as iam unable to transfer data from FILES. To the newly bought pendrive.

The app iXpand drive is working fine. But i can only transfer photos and videos from that app. To transfer my documents and all, the pen drive needs to show in Files app. And i removed it. :-(

Try this: In Files app > Browse pane, tap the 3 dots at upper right > choose Edit.

...Under Locations, is your flash drive listed with its switch Off? If so, turn the switch On.

Neeraj ~ Try this: First disconnect the flash drive. Then... Apple's iPhone User Guide says: "If your iPhone isn’t working as expected, you can try restarting it by turning it off, then turning it back on. If turning it off and on doesn’t fix the issue, try forcing it to restart.":

Turn iPhone on or off - Apple Support

...Then reconnect the flash drive.
