My iPad keeps auto adjusting brightness even with True Tone off and Accessibility Auto-Brightness off.

How do I make my Apple device serve me instead of doing what it wants?

I still like Apple computer products and I’m not ready to change.

The brightness of my iPad changes abruptly and causes me to not be able to see my screen.

I want to be able to adjust the brightness manually at all times and at no time do I want the auto adjusting feature to assist. The problem is persistent when I turn off, at two different sections of device settings, this feature.

Greetings Murat175,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand that even after adjusting your settings, your iPad continues to change the brightness automatically. We'd like to provide you with a few steps that may help resolve the issue:

  1. Restart your iPad. This may seem like a simple step to take but it refreshes your device and the software.
  2. Update your iPad. Completing this process ensures that your device has the latest fixes. If this corrects the behavior, the software would be the root cause of the issue. Please be sure to secure your data with a backup before proceeding.

We hope this helps.

Have a wonderful day!
