Paying for Two Subscriptions:

This is not possible. AppleIDs cannot be merged. Therefore iCloud plans cannot be merged.

You can upgrade your storage plan, it will keep your old data but will keep your current iCloud subscription at a higher price. Also, an iCloud account presets on 5GB, not 500MB.

Storage plans are only upgradable with iCloud+, I believe. Here are the available options:

50GB: $0.99/month

200GB: $2.99/month

2TB: $9.99/month

Upgrade to a larger plan normally. The remainder of the money you've spent on it for the current billing cycle will be applied to the new one.
