MS Word Spinning wheel old issue still not solved!
I think there is a bug in MS Word that Microsoft refuses to address, (from reading forums from 2012) or their programmers are getting to sloppy or too lazy to fix it. I´ve asked this question in their forums with no helpful answer. A spinning wheel appears every time I type, do or undo any operation, after a pause, every time I save, etc. Saving to the hard drive to avoid the cloud takes ridiculous time! This was the reason why I bought a MacPro with 16 gb of ram, to replace an unexpandable 8gb pc. and yet, with my new powerful device I still have to wait 10 seconds between each click... It is DEFINITELY NOT A RAM issue.
In my old pc, it started last year... the spinning wheel, the frozen page, the frozen cursor, unresponsive touchpad... sometimes the page dissappeared or became blurry. I could no longer navigate between pages... Then i wanted to save and the drive was GONE! I upgraded to Win 11... downgraded back to Windows 10 and nothing solved the issue. I struggled enough to want to spend 2 grand in this beauty, and I´m looking at my work with horror, because no way I can advance one click every 10 seconds in a 1000 page document! Or is it that my 10 Mb word file too big for Word for Mac? As simple as trying to add a word to the custom dictionary and getting a message that says, 'the dictionary is full'! Com ´n! LOL Word used to be so wonderful, yet, each upgrade it has gone backwards.
I just typed my long story short, and I had no spinning wheel at all.... It is only Word! I need help!
