Cannot turn off do not disturb on iphoneSE

My iphone SE is not emitting sound notifications. I have tried everything to turn off do not disturb but it will not work. The crescent moon is constantly visible in my control center and lock screen. I have done a hard reboot and tried to reset the focus function and allow notifications for certain apps even if focus in turned on. At this point I just want to turn focus and do not disturb off because my phone notifications are silent no matter what I do. I am missing text messages, calendar notifications, phone calls, and email notifications. Can you help?
