screen time content restrictions

When I go to use the screen time content restrictions to block the twitter website after blocking the app I type in the URL but then when I go to safari after doing this I can still access the twitter website so far all I can tell is that doesn't stop anything on twitter from loading. Is there a fix to this or does twitter just have a strange url that I am not putting in right?

Hello LWilliamson89,

This definitely isn't intended behavior, so we'd like to start with ensuring your iPad is up to date, as these updates often include software that addresses unexpected behavior. Update iPadOS will walk you through backing up and updating your iPad if it's not already.

"Update iPad manually

At any time, you can check for and install software updates.

Go to Settings  > General > Software Update.

The screen shows the currently installed version of iPadOS and whether an update is available.

To turn off automatic updates, go to Settings > General > Software Update > Automatic Updates."

If the issue persists after updating, reach out to Apple Support. They'll be best equipped to investigate this a bit more.

Regards.
