My Sports

I am using 16.2 on my iPad and iPhone.

I see and have access to "My Sports" feature for Apple News + on my iPad but NOT on my iPhone. Any thoughts?

Apple News App: Problems suppressing sports stories... Ever since the latest iOS update, my news feeds are suddenly overstuffed w/sport stories. As someone who is not into sports at all, I want zero sports showing up in the feed. Spending countless clicks for the past two weeks 'show less' action on sport story after sport story. Seems like show me less does nothing, or maybe is cross-wired to show me more behind the scenes. Either way it was fine before the iOS update and now my new feed is like ESPN. How can this get fixed? Why are there also still no categories such as iOS (there is one for MacOS, but still none for iOS or iPadOS, home kit etc)?

Live sports scores no longer appear in dynamic island or lock screen on iPhone 15 Pro I received my iPhone15 Pro last week but so far I have not been able to get live sports scores to show up in the dynamic island or on the lock screen. In the past I have been able to do this by going to the TV app, finding the game I want under "watch live sports" and then hitting the "check mark" at the top of the screen ... nothing happens Things I have tried: Toggled "Allow Live Activities" in Settings -> TV -> Live Activities Toggled "Sync My Sports" in Settings -> News Toggled "Live Activities" in Settings -> Face ID & Passcode Removed & re-added teams to "Following" under "Sports" in the News App Fully powered off the phone What's next?

Apple News sync my sports I have an iPhone 14 pro running iOS 16.2 but when I go to sync my sports in the news setting it won’t let it toggle to on it toggles itself back to off. Is there anyway to fix this?

Set it up. Siri is used to personalize your Apple News (My Sports is in general Apple News - Apple News+ is not required). So likely you haven’t used it recently on your iPhone, unlike your iPad.
