Obscured MacOS Calendar Event Info window when using an external monitor and internal display

Does anyone know how to change the default positioning of the calendar event info box?

I use my MBP with a 27" monitor but keep the Calendar app on the MBP. When I open events, the info box is mostly obscured with 4/5ths off the screen. When I switch the Calendar to the large monitor, the event info box displays in the upper left corner and is fully visible. It's like there's a bug with the Calendar app using the large display to calculate where to place the info box even when it's displaying on the smaller MBP display.

Hey SirJFBJr,

If by the info box, you mean the pop-up that appears when you double-click on an event in Calendar, there's currently not a way to adjust where it shows up. If the info box is appearing mostly off of the display, have you tried making changes to the size of the Window on the Mac itself, such as increasing or decreasing the size of the window? If not, that might be a good starting point. Also, check to see if the same issue occurs within safe mode. More info on how to Start up your Mac in safe mode can be found here. Make sure to pay close attention to the steps as they can vary a bit baed on the specific Mac you have. Details on that below as well:

"Start up your Mac with Apple silicon in safe mode

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > Shut Down.
  2. Wait for your Mac to shut down completely. A Mac is completely shut down when the screen is black and any lights (including in the Touch Bar) are off.
  3. Press and hold the power button on your Mac until “Loading startup options” appears.
  4. Select a volume.
  5. Press and hold the Shift key, then click Continue in Safe Mode.
  6. The computer restarts automatically. When the login window appears, you should see “Safe Boot” in the menu bar.

Start up your Intel-based Mac in safe mode

  1. Turn on or restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key until you see the login window.
  2. Log in to your Mac.
  3. You might be asked to log in again.
  4. On either the first or second login window, you should see “Safe Boot” in the menu bar."

Take care.
