App Store Won't Load on MacBook Pro

When I access the App Store from my MacBook Pro Launchpad, nothing loads. Literally just an empty box I can open and close. How can I get it to load? Do I need to remove and reinstall? If so, how do I go about that task? Thanks in advance.
