Purchased album no longer plays and not in iTunes Store

I have a Bruce Springsteen album in my Music list on my MacBook that I purchased (it's in the family purchases list on my account) that will not play. It asks for the computer to be authorized which I do but only goes back to the "authorize this device" window and just loops and loops.

The album - while listed as a purchase - cannot be download again as there's no download icon.

The album is not available in the iTunes store any longer.

So....my question is, if an album/song/music that I purchased from the iTunes Store is now no longer available in the store, do I lose it? I didn't know I was purchasing "limited time" or temporary music.

If that's the case, Apple, please confirm.

Hi,

Do you have option to remove download? If so, try downloading new copy as the original could be corrupt. Also purchases may be hidden. Hide and unhide music, films, TV programmes, audiobooks and books – Apple Support (UK)

That's the thing - it's in my music list but does not play.

It asks for the computer to be authorized which I do but says the computer has already been authorized; the music does not play.

I know I purchased it - it's in the list - but no way to re-download it.

So, basically, iTunes got my $$ and I have no album.
