Data in weather widget is not updating even if connected to the Internet

Hi,

Recently, I've updated to ios 16.2 with my IPhone 13 Pro.

From the beginning, weather widget is buggy.

When I am connected to the Internet and clicking on the widget, location with correct temperature is shown.

When exiting from the widget, and browsing the phone etc. and then going back to the widget, message : 'No weather data available'is shown.

It does not matter if I am connected to Wifi or 5G. Does not matter if geo location is on or off - same behavior.

"How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, or later

Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.

Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.

To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."

Hi K_Faith,

Still no luck.

Weather is not updating after restart.

I have also spotted that, when device is offline - wifi off, 5G off, message in widget about no data is visible.

So it means that device should be connected to the Internet all the time to have information from the widget.

From my site it is a bug, in version 16.1.2 there was no such an issue.

I have tried deleting the widget and restore it again but still it does not work after reconnecting.
