How to turn on iPhone Battery Percentage?

So I tried to turn on the battery percentage. The only option I have is for the control center. The option for the battery percentage on my main screen isn’t an option for my phone. I have an iPhone 13. My mother, sister, and friend are all on the same plan with me and also have iPhone 13’s. Their phones have this option yet mine does not. How can I get this? Side note: I have already done all the updates available.

We'll be happy to help today with your iPhone 13 and displaying the battery percentage. It shows your iPhone currently has iOS 15 installed. You will need to upgrade to iOS 16 to have this feature available. We recommend backing up before upgrading.

After upgrading, reach back out if you still don't see the battery percentage.

Your profile shows that you have an iPhone 13 Pro Max with iOS 15. The battery percentage display is available with iOS 16. You will have to install iOS 16.2 (latest iOS version) to activate this feature.

You have stated that you have done all the updates that are available. When you attempt to update your iPhone by opening Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Software Update, then do you see the option to update to iOS 16?

If you do not see an option to update to iOS 16, then Did you participate in the beta program of iOS version 15? If YES, then you may still have the beta profile installed on your iPhone and that is preventing you from updating to iOS version 16. To check this, open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ VPN & Device Management ➡️ Configuration Profile: Here, if you see a beta profile installed, then tap on it and then choose remove the profile. Once this is done, then restart your iPhone and attempt to update your iPhone again.
