Keep Apple ID of father that I made into a child so he couldn't buy anything, see below

I bought an iPad to give to my father in the hospital. we only wanted a slide show of pictures to be accessible. I created an Apple ID and made him a child so that he could not access the web, buy stuff, etc. The idea did not work out and I returned the iPad and the process of deleting his account is started by me/apple to get him off of my computer as a child/family member. Is there a way to 1) get him off my MacBook Air/iPhone as a child/family member and 2) make him an adult so that if he wants to in the future he can keep his Apple ID (his name).

Hi Rushd,

It sounds like you want to change the birth date on an Apple ID.

Note what it says in the document Update the birth date associated with your Apple ID - Apple Support

- For a child under 13 (or in a country where your offspring is considered to be a child) you will have to contact Apple:

Click here --> Choose your country or region - Official Apple Support Select your country, then a product and work your way down the menu until you reach the help you need. If you do not find it, select a different topic and work you way down to any option that results in a telephone or chat request.
