I am using an iPhone 13 mini with Jio service provider's esim. I have gone through lot of community posts on apple forums but nothing helped on how to send/receive SMS via esim on iPhone 13 mini. Carrier has nothing to do with it. I was able to send/receive messages before switching to esim.
Please suggested what can be done?

Settings ➔ Messages ➔ Send as SMS - this is set to ON.

What makes you believe that the carrier has nothing to do with this? You just switched to eSIM and you cannot send SMS messages. Contact your carrier and ensure that the settings on their end are set properly during the switch to eSIM.

The SMS service started working after some hours.
