iMessage fails to send videos from Playstation app

I didn't have an issue with this initially. My friends and I like to download and send clips that we capture on the PS5 and save through the Playstation app. I didn't have a problem with sending them before, but just recently my videos fail to send ("Message failed to send" error) but my friends are having no issue. I don't believe I've changed any settings and have not only tried deleting/reinstalling the app but upgraded my phone altogether (iPhone 8+ to the iPhone 14). I should also note that any other image/video sends without issue. To test it, I tried sending a 7 second video that I downloaded directly from the app (which failed to send again), followed by a screen recording of the same video that I captured in my photo library. Any help on the issue would be much appreciated.

Based on what you described in your original post, we recommend that you try the steps here: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

To perform the steps in the article we suggested above, click and open the link, read the subheadings below, and try the steps below that you haven't already completed.

1) Close and reopen the app

2) Restart your device

3) Check for updates

4) Delete the app, then redownload it
