Is there another way to launch control center other than swiping?

I’m unable to swipe up or down on my watch when at the watch face screen and am unable to launch the control center. The ability to swipe up/down works in other aspects. I suspect the issue is related to enabling the water feature and forgetting to turn the dial to disable it.

I actually used the water feature to lock the watch from accidental swipes as it basically locks the screen. I didn’t actually go in water.

Restart your Apple Watch and let us know what happens regarding your ability to access Control Center.

Regarding "Water Lock," refer to How to use Water Lock and eject water from your Apple Watch which states:

How to turn off Water Lock and eject water

Press and hold* the Digital Crown on the side of your Apple Watch until the display says Unlocked. A series of tones plays to clear any water that remains in the speaker, and then you can use your display as usual.

* If your Apple Watch has watchOS 8 or earlier, rotate the Digital Crown instead of pressing it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I usually restart as a first level troubleshooting step, and swore I had. However I decided to just to be certain and sure enough it’s all working now.
