I use a cycling app that has minimum requirements that define whether the app will work correctly on various devices.
One of these is for a minimum 2GB of RAM for an iPAD. I can't seem to find this information. Can anyone help

Thanks Michael, interestingly the app tells me that the iPad does meet the requirements fully (no detail). It still works but you don't get the full graphics. They also indicate that graphics should be "metal" does that make nay sense to you?
I'm thinking of upgrading to a 9th or 10th generation Ipad with 256GB memory, do you know if this has more RAM?

MacTracker is the app you want, if you want to know about configurations. It’s free, too.
Metal 1 and Metal 2 support on iPad is included with Apple A7 and newer.
Metal 3 support is available on iPad with A13 and later.
If this unnamed app is the requirement, ask the app vendor which iPad model they’d recommend. Various vendors will have a minimum configuration, and a recommended configuration, not that I’ve seen much of that with iPad apps.
Unfortunately for this particular discussion, MacTracker doesn’t list Metal support.
The iPad 9th gen and 10th gen have 3gb ram. Also, metal is a developer api for apps.
