Macbook making noise even when muted

Macbook on Catalina 10.15.7 Retina 13in 2020.

In the past few days, any time audio would be played if the system were not muted, there is a white noise from the right speaker.

When not muted, the audio sounds bad.

When muted using F10, it plays noise when I get notifications or a video/audio is played.

When muted using system preferences and muting the speakers, it does the same.

I turned all sound to the left speaker, it also sounds bad, plays noise when muted.

I have no updated because I do not believe the system will handle it.
