Apple TV app wont recognise my subscription

Hi, I have signed up for Apple TV and have signed in on the App on the TV. I have signed in and linked to the TV with the code supplied but every time I try and sign in it doesnt recognise my subscription, just keeps saying start free trial, when I click on this it just says to confirm what my subscription is, which I do but then it still does not allow me to watch anything.

It sounds like you've done some solid troubleshooting already to get your Apple TV+ subscription working. You could also try deleting the Apple TV app and reinstalling it. If that doesn't work, we recommend contacting Apple Support directly to look into the subscription issue
