Apple TV+ says I'm not subscribed

I'm on a 6 month free trial, it was working fine 3 days ago, but now when I launch the apple tv app, it says I'm not subscribed at all.


I checked my phone, ipad, and apple tv, and they all say the same thing.


I made sure I was logged in (earlier today while I was watching netflix on my apple tv, an apple login prompt popped up - i thought it was weird, so I dismissed it at the time), using the only account I have (which is therefore the account I subscribed to atv+ with), I even changed a purchase setting so it would prompt me for my password again, but even after providing the correct password, apple tv+ still says I'm not subscribed.


I tried clicking the "try it free" button, hoping that would get the system to realize I'm subscribed, but no luck. It tells me my subscription will expire in 7 days (not the 5 months I have left on my free sub), and then takes me back to the "try it free" screen.


In fact, the tv app isn't even listing any of the shows I watch on other services like it normally does.
