Delete alias

Hi, I need to remove the alias of my apple-id. In the 'manuals' I find :

Click Accounts. Select the alias in the Addresses list, then do any of the following: Turn off an alias: Select “Disable alias.” Delete an alias: Click Delete.

Unfortunately, these options do not exist (anymore). How can I delete the alias ?

Hey LucieDeSchepper,

An alias can be deleted here: iCloud. After signing in with your Apple ID and password, follow the steps below to delete it. Keep in mind, once delete it cannot be undeleted.

  1. "In Mail on iCloud.com, click the Settings button at the top of the Mailboxes list, then choose Preferences.
  2. Click Accounts, select an iCloud Mail alias in the list, then do any of the following:
    • Turn off an alias: Select “Disable alias.”
    • Turn on an alias: Deselect “Disable alias.”
    • Delete an alias: Click “Delete alias,” then click Delete.
  1. Click Done."

This information can also be reviewed here: Add and manage email aliases for iCloud Mail on iCloud.com.

Take care.

That's a great question, LucieDeSchepper,

You can sign into iCloud via a web browser on your computer to locate the options to edit your alias. If you're using an iPhone, iPod or iPad to sign into iCloud, you may not see the same options you'll see when you sign into iCloud via a web browser on your computer.

You can sign into iCloud via a web browser on your computer here: Sign In iCloud

Take care!
