The Apple phone wallet I purchased from Amazon is already linked to someone else. I realize I can return it but run the risk of it happening again and I need it for this weekend.
Is there ANY way to reset it without the original owner disabling it? Since that's not a possibility my only other option is to return it or just not use the location option.

When an item is connected to another Apple ID, it will need to be removed from that account before it can associated with another Apple ID. The original owner will need to complete the following steps to remove it:
If an item or device is connected to another Apple ID
If you're not able to contact the original owner to have their Apple ID removed, it may be best to return the wallet.
