I got my charger less than a year ago was wondering if I can get a new one for free, cause this one has just got worn from time and now won’t charge my phone . One issue is I live 2 hours away from the closes Apple Store

If your goal is to get Apple to provide you one for free, you will have to convince the Apple technician that this is a manufacturing defect and not caused by either normal "wear & tear" or by neglect. Either way, they would have to examine it.

Since an Apple Store is two hours away, do you happen to have an Apple Authorized Service Provider closer to your location.
