Siri won't search the internet while the iPhone is moving in a car

I've seen another posting on this issue, but I was totally unsatisfied with the response. In the latest ios update on my iphone, Siri won't search the internet while the phone is moving in a car. It has nothing to do with the car because it's not even connected by blue tooth. While there are a couple of other features that I think suck with this latest update, this particular feature is really annoying, and I'm trying to be on my best behavior. Does anyone have a fix (change settings, etc.)? I am so ****** about this that when I replace my phones in the next year or so, I'll switch to Android. I'm not down with a phone that pretends to be my momma.

Go to Settings>Focus>Driving Focus.

Scroll down to ‘While Driving’ and select it.

Under “Activate”, select “Manually”.

I have what I think is the same problem. In my case, when I'm driving and ask Siri to search something, it responds that it "can't search on the iPhone". (My "Driving Focus" is already in line with your suggestion.)

My iPhone's:

"Cellular Data" is on

"Cellular Data Roaming" is on

"Voice & Data 5G" is on (Verizon)

(NOTE: At home - i.e. in range of my wifi - it searches and provides results.)

Any and all assistance appreciated - thanks in advance.
