Default Music to Spotify from Apple Music

I have used Apple Music and had a family plan on it for about 2 years, but we just recently switched to Spotify. I am struggling with having it play my Spotify music instead of Apple Music. For example, if I ask Siri to play a certain playlist, it automatically goes to Apple Music, but I want it to go to Spotify. Another example is whenever it connects to my car, it plays old music or playlists from my Apple Music when I want it to play what I last listened to on Spotify. So, my question is how do I change the default music on my phone from Apple Music to Spotify?

Hello Samthecool277,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. As of now there is no way to set a third party app as the default music app on your Apple devices.

As a workaround, you can try to ask Siri to play a song using Spotify as: "Hey Siri, play Ed Sheeran on Spotify".
