Apple Watch Series 3 reboots when preparing update.

My Series 3 running 6.2.6 is not activated, and when I try to pair it to my iPhone X running 16.1.2, it either
-Says that it can't check for update because i'm not connected to the internet.
-Starts downloading 6.3(and rebooting after starting "preparing...")
-Starts downloading 8.7.1(and rebooting after starting "preparing...")
-Says that the Watch is up to date(6.2.6)(usually after the mentioned rebooting)
My screen time in the Watch app is exceeding 7 hours, every day of the past week, and I just want my Watch to work.
I already tried erasing it and the phones, hard resetting and connecting to an older phone(SE1 15.7.1)
I would really appreciate any replies regarding this issue.
P.S. It reboots to the pairing screen, waits for about 7-10 seconds(while it connects to the iPhone presumably) and then reboots again. Not stuck in a bootloop on the apple logo. The watch is connected to the internet, as I checked in the router network map. [EDIT] Forgot to say that after 3-5 reboots the watch is warm to the touch, if this helps.
