Apple Music app keeps launching when I connect bluetooth earbuds

Can you please make an update to fix the automatic launch of the Apple Music app, which keeps launching whenever I connect my bluetooth earbuds, please? I love Apple Music, I have a family subscription -- but I don't use it during the day on my laptop, ever. The problem is that whenever I pull out my earbuds to take a work call, I often have to refer to something on my MacBook , which is slow because it's launching Apple Music / iTunes app. Again. And again.

It is annoying the first few times, but by the end of the day, after attempting to use the built-in functionality of my very expensive earbuds to control calls on my iPhone but being ear-blasted by a sudden burst of music instead, I am weary beyond belief.

Was this an executive decision to hi-jack my working day or just an oversight? No wait, I don't want to know--let's just blame it on the folks in Marketing and move on. PLEASE enter a ticket and fix this nonsense.
